In the Springtime? I thought that April showers brought May flowers. Who said anything about April
SNOW! We woke up this morning to another 5 inches of snow in our yards. As much as I am hating snow at the moment (mostly because it is Spring and should be sunny and warm by now) it was the most beautiful thing I have seen in such a long time. Up above there were hardly any clouds in a bright blue sky.

Looking up, you would never suspect that the world looked like winter.

We had a bad rain storm yesterday with a little snow mixed in, but it had all mostly melted by the time I got off work. It was raining when we went to bed, but sometime during the night the snow must have been blizzarding.

As I was standing outside with Andy this morning while he was scraping the snow off of the car so that I could take him to work, I was amazed at the beauty that I saw all around me.

It was like I was in the middle of a dream. The snow was very wet and slippery, and it was so heavy that there were branches broken off of the trees. As we drove down Center Street in Orem, all the trees that just yesterday had the most beautiful blossoms on them, were now sagging and drooping towards the ground. All the branches were weighed down like there was something they needed to provide shelter for.

I couldn't get out my camera fast enough. I wish I would have had it on the drive because it was so beautiful to see the purple blossoms under a fresh blanket of snow. The trees around our house had just started to put on dresses of green leaves and are now covered in snow.

As much as I hate snow, I am so glad that I didn't miss this one!
