Precious Moments

So, I know I haven't posted all summer...but nothing really exciting has happened for us yet. However, some of our friends have finally gotten to adopt a baby after 10 long years of waiting!!! I just wanted to share because some of you may know them and be as excited about this news as we are. Tad and Tami have known for a couple of months now that they had been chosen by a girl to adopt her baby. Their precious baby girl was born September 1, 2009. She was 6 lbs 15 oz and 18.5 inches long. She is so beautiful and I can't even describe how much excitement is in my heart for them. I just got the picture today and I can't lie, I spent a few minutes crying tears of joy for them. Having gone through the whole process of trying so hard to get pregnant with no progress, I can sympathize with some of what they have gone through. We at least were lucky enough to be blessed with one precious angel. I can't imagine being in their shoes finding out that they will never be able to go through the process of having at least one on their own. They have always been so positive and had such great attitudes about getting a baby when the time was right. They are an inspiration to me, and we are so lucky to have such amazing friends! I am posting a picture of the baby, but I am not going to tell her name on my blog because I don't have their permission to do that, but it is such a cute name!!! We LOVE you guys!!!
