We planned to have Abby's birthday party at Nielsen's Park in Orem on Saturday, but Mother Nature changed our plans at the last minute. We watched the weather reports every night for two weeks and the weather said it would be sunny and 98*. Ha Ha the joke was on us...all of a sudden on Friday the weather report changed and said there was a chance of some mild rain late Saturday afternoon. We decided to stick with our plan since we were planning the party for 1:00 and figured we would be done by the time the rain set in. We got to the park and got all the food set out and the kids were playing...guests were arriving...and the rain started. It was just sprinkling a little but we decided we better pack up and head to my mom's house instead. DANG!!! I was so upset. I just wanted to be outside in the warm weather for a minute, but it didn't ruin our day. Everyone followed us to my mom's and we had a great party. Everyone brought such cute presents and the kids had so much fun playing with each other. The food was good and the company even better. It ended up being a perfect birthday party for a 1 year old. Abby loved opening all of her presents and playing with all her new toys. I think that she was little overwhelmed with them all but she is loving all of them. We were taking guesses on whether or not she would pick at her cake or dig right in...Of Course...she was picking at it and pinching a little piece off of it and putting it in her mouth. Andy kept trying to dig her hand in and she was NOT loving it!!!Monday, May 16, 2011

Guess who just turned 1...
ABIGAIL!!!
I can't believe that this sweet baby girl has already been here for a whole year! She has brought so much joy into our lives and I can't stop squeezing her!!! She has grown so much. She finally started crawling 2 weeks ago and is all over the place. She loves to be around her big sister and smiles whenever she sees her. She is always so happy and hardly ever fusses. I am so happy to be her mommy.
